Lebanon city officials are cautiously working with a company that plans to market cellular concrete and green technologies.  The City Attorney and the Commissioner of Public Safety made an unusual trip to Spokane, Washington to find out more about CoreTech Industries.  According to the Wilson Post they discovered lawsuits involving CoreTech and one of its officers, along with allegations the company failed to pay taxes.
Less than three months ago, CoreTech and Lebanon city officials were jointly promoting plans to build a campus near I-40 and South Hartmann Drive and create hundreds of jobs. They called it the first in the nation devoted exclusively to green technologies, according to VentureNashville.com.  Today City Attorney Andy Wright says he's just doing due-diligence, since CoreTech wants the city's help to get state funding.   Wright emphasizes he has found no signs of wrongdoing.
The company is moving ahead with plans to build CoreTech Park and on Thursday announced the hiring of a local construction contractor
