The man who was brutally beaten at the Green Hills Mall is suing Dillard's Department Store for $20 million.  As the City Paper reports, Bob DeMoss was attacked by four thugs with a baseball bat in the parking garage next to Dillard's last March.  According to his suit, the attack left him blind and brain damaged, and he needs round the clock care. DeMoss claims the parking garage was poorly lit and no security guards were around. He also alleges that Dillards knew there was crime in or near the garage, "including robberies, assaults, drug crimes and thefts", and should have done something about it.

Read the lawsuit here.
Details of this vicious crime were reported by NewsChannel 5 last March.
