In December of 1980, 24-year-old Marjorie Spivey Ewing disappeared in Murfreesboro. Her skull was found several months later on the Stones River Battlefield.
The newly-formed Cold Case Unit of the Murfreesboro Police Department got the case back in July 2007. Now they've made an arrest in Marjorie's murder. The suspect is her husband, 51-year-old Charles Ewing. The Daily News Journal has more on what appears to be the end of an almost-three-decade-long murder mystery.
