A survivor of the Good Friday Tornadoes was shot to death early Sunday morning in the quiet Windy Meadows subdivision in Christiana. According to NewsChannel 5, Jason Jones was a husband and father of three. He was at a party on Platte Drive, when he walked next door to ask the neighbors to quiet down, and one of them shot him.
The Daily News Journal reports a 25 year old resident of the house next door is in police custody. Neighbors tell reporters there was an ongoing dispute about noise, and the shooting suspect terrorized the neighborhood.
The Jones family had just started rebuilding their home in the Blackman neighborhood after a tornado destroyed it.
