34 years after the murder of Marcia Trimble, in a crowded Nashville courtroom, lawyers are choosing the 12 jurors who will hear the case. Accused killer Jerome Barrett has elected to stay in Davidson County, despite the fact that everyone knows about the murder.
Channel 4 News reports the strategy of his legal team appears to hinge on finding a jury that doesn't know much about Barrett. The judge ruled Friday that his past criminal convictions will not be allowed as evidence.
