What he is charged with is almost as disturbing - abuse of a corpse. Hicks claims his wife Carla killed herself. He has nothing to say that would shed light on how his wife's decomposing body was found halfway between the couple's Murfreesboro home and Lebanon, where Hicks works.
The story becomes more complicated when you add in proof that Carla Forbes-Hicks tried to overdose just this past spring. Newschannel 5 uncovered that piece of information.
News 2 reports that TBI has joined the investigation and that Forbes-Hicks was identified from the tattoos on her body.
