Police in Athens, Tennessee have charged a 30-year-old Cleveland, Tenn. resident with tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.
Officers said they made the arrest after the suspect put a half-burned marijuana joint into his mouth and resisted the officers' efforts to take it.
The incident began when officers were questioning the suspect about him selling meat, door to door, without a city permit.
