While the kids were trick-or-treating this weekend, restaurants and nightclubs in downtown Nashville were getting a big treat from customers on Halloween night. According to News 2, Karma Lounge lowered the cover charge and turned the clocks back an hour to attract more customers. Adam Yates, manager of the Karma Lounge, says Halloween inspires people to put on a costume that changes their mood, and to get out and spend some cash. The club took in 60% more business on Halloween than a typical Saturday night. Similar good-business stories are coming from other nightspots along Broadway and 2nd Avenue.
