Students of all ages are heading to the classroom. Community colleges and universities are seeing an increase in enrollment across the state.  Volunteer State Community College has 16 percent more studnets. Lipscomb University reports the largest student body in the school's 118-year history. Research shows that traditional teens and early 20s college students still make up the majority on campus. Older adults are attending night classes while unemployed. According to Newschannel 5, Columbia State Community College reports an increase in enrollment but faces challenges each day. Professors have larger classes and smaller budgets. President Obama recently announced plans to spend $12 Billion in the community college system.
