Christmas decorations and sale signs are up, but finding a temporary job at the mall this year is going to be tough. Retailers are afraid of a slow holiday shopping season. Newschannel 5  reports the stores are reluctant to hire additional workers. Hopeful applicants have been going mall to mall and store to store filling out applications with little luck.  
Some stores are hiring, but most are waiting to see how the season shapes up and may wait to hire extra help.
