This coming week, the U.S. Senate will take up a proposed overhaul of financial regulation, the intents of which are transparency and a degree of protection from the elements that caused the current recession.

E-mails, delivered in response to a Senate panel's actions, might make some blush, might make others get red-in-the-face for other reasons.
