Carly Simon has apparently revealed the identity of the "vain" one from her 70's era hit song, "You're So Vain" and it is record mogul David Geffen.  There has been much speculation throughout the years of the identity of the subject of the song.  Some of the guesses have been actor Warren Beatty, Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger and even Simon's one time husband singer songwriter James Taylor. 

Now maybe Bobbie Gentry will tell us what Billie Joe McAllister was throwing off the Tallahatchie Bridge.
