Bet you thought that everybody avoids those pesky commercials on Television. The standard avoidance techniques are thought to be channel switching or getting up and leaving the room.
Well, the research is in and everything we know is wrong.
According to a new study, only 14% of viewers change channels during commercials.
As far as leaving the room, 19% leave the room before a commercial break, 20% during the break and %13 leave within a four-minute period after the commercials end.
Are commercials becoming more entertaining than the programs?
