We promise this will not be a running feature, but so many readers looked at Sunday's story about the legendary satirist Stan Freberg, that we thought we'd trot the old boy out one more time.
In the 50s, Freberg was known for his recorded satires of popular songs, radio and television shows. This clip uses his version of the Banana Boat Song (Day-O!!) as its soundtrack. Most readers of the current generation probably know the song best for its use in the movie BeetleJuice, or perhaps they were in Kindergarten with the editor's son when he taught the entire class to sing "Day-O" at the tops of their lungs, inside the building.
