Former Vice President Al Gore has been busy developing his grassroots non-profit organization called The Climate Project. Next month more than 500 Climate Project presenters from the U.S. and Canada will gather in Nashville for a North American Summit with Gore and other experts. The Climate Project is an extension of the film "An Inconvenient Truth" which garnered Gore an Oscar and a Nobel prize. He vowed to train a thousand people to present the message of the climate crisis around the world. The Climate Project also invited amateur producers to create videos that are airing online this week in honor of Earth Day. The video above is one example.
The message got to the luxury leather maker Louis Vuitton North America, Inc. The company says it will donate 15% of all sales on Earth Day, April 22, to The Climate Project in the name of celebrities such as Keith Richards, Steffi Graf, and Sean Connery.
