Cheatham County Mayor Bill Orange gets to keep his job for now.  A move to oust him failed by one vote Monday night, before a large crowd.  Earlier this month, a grand jury called him stupid, but refused to indict him.  Orange has admitted that he authorized the city's ambulance director to change the time sheet of an emergency medical tech who sued the county for sex discrimination.  As a result, the EMT made close $20,000 in overtime pay, for work she never did.  Orange says he was just trying to settle the suit, but now realizes he was wrong.  The grand jury did indict EMS Director Ken Simms, who signed the altered time sheets over a period of 18 months.  Simms resigned last November.
