The Tennessee Ethics Commission is on the chopping block. The watchdog agency was born three years ago to investigate corruption, after the Tennessee Waltz bribery scandal that sent Sen. John Ford to prison. Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro) wants to merge Ethics with the Registry of Election Finance. He says that would save $338,000 a year. Read more in The Tennessean
