General David Petraeus, commander of American military forces in the Middle East, was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and successfully underwent radiation treatment earlier this year. Petraeus was treated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center over a period of two months. According to a statement, there was "minimal impact on his work schedule." General Petraeus first disclosed this matter as personal, but doctors have released information saying the treatments were successful, as The New York Times reports.
