Mayor Karl Dean has unveiled an incubator program to expand Nashville's charter schools. According to News 2, the Center for Charter School Excellence in Tennessee will function as an organization that trains educators who are launching new charter schools. The non-profit program is based on simliar organizations in New Orleans and New York. The center will allow students more access to enroll in charter schools, as Newschannel 5 reports.
