Writing at the website Consortiumnews.com this past week, Michael Winship proposed that the Tea Party Movement, with its anti-government sentiments, actually places the group in a position as a front for corporate interests, when the only feasible check on unlimited corporate power is, in fact, the government.
Considering the high-powered business-protecting political organization FreedomWorks that has been supporting the Tea Party Movement, this probably should not be taken as a specious argument.
