Is it effete snobbery to use French in a headline?

It's Sunday. You know, politics and opinion day on televison: Meet the Press, This Week, CBS Sunday Morning, Face the Nation and Fox News Sunday.

So it's understandable that Nashville 24/7 might devote more attention to politics.

You can always change the channel.

Writing at the website Consortiumnews.com this past week, Michael Winship proposed that the Tea Party Movement, with its anti-government sentiments, actually places the group in a position as a front for corporate interests, when the only feasible check on unlimited corporate power is, in fact, the government.

Considering the high-powered business-protecting political organization FreedomWorks that has been supporting the Tea Party Movement, this probably should not be taken as a specious argument.
