As the school year gets underway and parents share information - and fears - about a possible H1N1 outbreak, Vanderbilt Medical Center is prepping for the next phase of its testing of an H1N1 vaccine. That's testing a pediatric version of the vaccine.
With 600 volunteers participating in the adult testing at Vanderbilt, the program can be said to be right on track.
But it can be a tough call for parents and their children to volunteer for something where there are a lot of unknowns.
