With 600 volunteers participating in the adult testing of an H1N1 vaccine at Vanderbilt Medical Center, the program can be said to be right on track.
But while Vanderbilt has recruited some children to test the pediatric version of the vaccine beginning Wednesday, researchers still need another 50 kids to volunteer.
It's a tough call for parents and their children to volunteer for something where there are a lot of unknowns. but doctors assure the publlic that the vaccine trials are safe.
