Agriculture provides food, fuel and fiber for the world. This spring, the Fleischaker-Greene Scholars class at Western Kentucky University’s School of Journalism & Broadcasting will investigate agriculture, from farm to fork.

Students want to know what is sustainable – or not – about our current agriculture system. Will we be able to produce enough food to feed a growing world, without killing the planet? Are large, efficient operations the way to go, or should we get our food from small, organic, local farms?

To find some answers, they begin in their own back yard at WKU and in Warren County.
