LeAnn Rimes will sing the Star Spangled Banner at the Kentucky Derby this year.  It's a first for LeAnn, and a history-making change for the Derby, which has never before invited a national recording artist to sing the national anthem.  Read more in The Tennessean
Speaking of other changes in LeAnn's life, she's written a new song and a book to go with it.  Both are out this week and called "What I cannot change."  There's a touch of irony to the title.  The tabloids are alleging that she had an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, and LeAnn can't seem to shake the scandal.  The Today Show's Matt Lauer asked her to set the record straight.
