Popcorn Sutton, Tennessee's most famous moonshiner, lives on in a new version of his book, "Me and My Likker." It has new pictures and new stories about his life and adventures. Sutton killed himself just days before he was scheduled to report to prison for running a moonshine operation. His wife, Pam, said he was sick and depressed and didn't want to die behind bars. One of the last things he did was finish his new book, which is available only at the Bent Corner Bookstore in Knoxville for $65.
WBIR TV tells the story of how Sutton picked just one store to sell his book.
Sutton made a documentary about making moonshine called The Last One. You can watch an excerpt by clicking here
