Students usually enjoy having a couple of days off, but sickness plagues Clarksville High School. Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools Director Michael Harris made the decison to dismiss classes for Thursday and Friday after a high percentage (25%) of students have flu-type symptoms. The school is taking several precautions to stop the sickness from spreading.
Teachers were very optimistic after hearing the director's decison, because September is the prime month to introduce new material and reinforce important lessons. It's easier to start fresh with the entire class present. News 2 reports...
