How often do principals provide their phone numbers for text messaging? Hunters Lane High school principal Dr. Sue Kessler gladly discloses her personal phone number to students. Over 1,800 students have Dr. Kessler's number. They have the rare opportunity to contact their principal 24 hours a day via text messaging.
Dr. Kessler says, "They have a lot to say, and they have a lot of things that they're thinking about, and while a lot of it is just typical teenage stuff, occasionally it is very serious information."
News 2 reports on this unique interaction within Nashville's second largest school.

It can be a breeding ground for dangerous and unlawful activity.
