November 11th marked a day to remember veterans of all ages. Gathering at a Shelbyville nursing home, three World War II veterans shared stories and memorabilia from 60 years ago. Newchannel 5 reports the former pilots talked about classified missions over Germany with the P-38, the fastest plane in the 1940s. As they told these stories smiles and tears filled their faces. Each veteran remembered the war like it was yesterday. This generation of veterans is quickly fading away.
