In the midst of a down economy, the Salvation Army is trying creative ways to raise money this Christmas. They are becoming more flexible and convenient in accepting your donations. According to News 2, the organization created virtual kettles online. For example, you can set up a kettle to accept donations through your Facebook page. Over $37,000 has been collected through Facebook. No cash? No problem. You can bring a credit card to swipe at most kettle locations.
