The new facility, which is scheduled to be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, is located next to the Gallatin Police Department.
”It is very satisfying to finally get to this point. We’ve come a long way, and we’ve worked very hard to get where we are,” said Donna Belote, the executive director of Greater Gallatin.
“This will be a good day for the city, and I hope people will come out during the day Saturday to see what local vendors will be offering.”
”Gallatin used to have a Farmers Market years ago, but it wasn’t run very well. Vendors just came certain days of the week,” said Rusty Barber of R&S Groundskeeping and Nursery in Castalian Springs. “However, I am happy we’re going to open a Farmers Market this weekend.
