In anticipation of 2010 Earth Day, around 80 volunteers from Bowling Green spent part of their Saturday making room for spring flowers at the Lost River Cave.

Kaitllyn Swaggert, a student at Western, was one of the volunteers: "it makes you feel good about yourself, you're actually out in nature, you're experiencing it first hand, getting your hands a little dirty, you know, you feel like you're doing some good for the community."

The Invasive Plant Pull is an annual event at Lost River Cave.
