Cindy Walker may be the greatest female songwriter in the history of country music.
With songs like "Miss Molly", "You Don't Know Me" and "Dream Baby" (up there in the video box), Walker certainly belongs in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
And Walker, who died in 2006, left the Hall a gift that will benefit it forever - the ownership of her songs. Read more here about how those songs have already brought the Hall over half a million dollars in royalties. And since her music will always be a part of the country music songbook, they will be a tremendous financial benefit to the Hall of Fame in perpetuity.
