In the last part of this seried, from the Washington Times, we meet rabbi Marc Schneier. His Foundation for Ethnic Understanding was originally aimed at improving relations between black and Jewis communities. Three years ago, he changed the group's focus to concentrate on relations between Muslims and Jews.
"The challenge of the 21st century," he said in an interview, "is to narrow the chasm between Judaism and Islam."
