His horrified mother is trying to get the charges reversed without much success so far.  Seems if the kid was into gambling all sorts of red flags would have gone up but since it was, well farming, the credit card company took little notice.  The story from Mashable has attracted a number of comments including this one: "That kid is in so much trouble. To work off the debt, his parents will make him work on a real farm for the summer..." Priceless.
