In today's episode of [No Recipes], chef Marc Matsumoto introduces us to the Japanese beef and rice bowl known as "guydon."
Not just any guydon, this one is a modified homage to the Japanese fast food chain Yoshinoya. The restaurant had its beginnings in Tokyo in 1899, and now owns stores around the Pacific Rim and in four U.S. states (sadly, none in the Southeast).
Simple and inexpensive to make, it's a great receipe to try on your own.
When you make some up, please invite us over. We'll bring the sake.
