Filly Rachel Alexandra beat back a field of boys in Baltimore this evening to win the Preakness.  It's a historic win, the first time in 85 years that a filly has taken the middle jewel in the Triple Crown. The best part of the race was the final stretch challenge from Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird. Mike Smith rode Bird to a second place finish, while Jockey Calvin Borel switched horses to take Rachel Alexandra to the finish line first.
