When Kyle Busch won the race at Nashville Super Speedway Saturday night, he destroyed his car, and a $30,000 trophy. The car burning on the track thrilled the fans. Busch doing a Pete Townshend immitation did not. He promised to give his team pieces of the trophy...a one-of-a-kind, handmade, Gibson Les Paul guitar. Kyle Busch went straight to the winner's circle and smashed it on the ground until it fell apart on live television.
Fans are calling him a spoiled brat and a jerk who needs help.
The guitar trophy is considered one of the best treasures in sports. It's made by NASCAR artist Sam Bass, who spent two months designing it.
Bass said he was stunned, when he talked to Rudy Kalis on Channel 4's Inside Sports.
