The state high school football championships move to Cookeville at Tennessee Tech's Tucker Stadium through 2011.  Murfreesboro and MTSU have hosted the Blue Cross Bowl since 2000 but lost the competition this time.  The Daily News Journal reports the TSSAA Board of Control heard presentations from Chattanooga, Murfreesboro and Cookeville on Wednesday.  It appears money was the bottom line, but complimentary hotel rooms, meals, rental cars, and tickets to local attractions also came into play.  In the end, Murfreesboro had the lowest bid at $231,000.  Chattanooga bid $241,000.  Cookeville bid $250,000 plus all ticket sales above the minimum of $250,000.
