While the University of Tennessee football program has an ongoing affair with police blotter, former Vols' affinity for DUI-related manslaughters may take the cake. Cleveland Browns wide receiver and former UT speedster Donte' Stallworth has been suspended definitely by the NFL for his DUI-related crash that killed a pedestrian March 14. In a 911 call released this week, Stallworth defends himself by saying that the man he killed "came out of nowhere" prior to the crash. Regardless of Stallworth's ultimate culpability in the matter, he joins fellow former Vols/NFL players Leonard Little and Dwayne Goodrich as perpetrators of DUI-related vehicular homicides.
