England's Daily Mail is reporting that couch potatoes will add an average of 5 pounds (.35 Stone; 2 and a quarter kilos or $7.25 in real money) during World Cup events, mostly from junk food.
No friend to the slothful, the paper suggests that Britons are "apparently keen to mimic the perfectly round symmetry of the new Adidas World Cup football - the Jabulani - by stocking up on calorie-filled junk."
Hey, they're in shape, "round" is a shape, isn't it?
