The Nashville Predators ended their naming rights agreement with the Sommet Group and filed a lawsuit on Wednesday. The NHL team claims the Sommet Group stopped paying it's fees in August. Brian Whitfield, Sommet's managing partner, says the company stopped making payments because the Predators were buying food and services from other vendors and violated their agreement to buy everything through Sommet. The arena is actually owned by Metro government, which plans to call it the Nashville Arena.
